ENDODONTICS

After a direct examination of the oral cavity and X-ray analysis, possible interventions and a treatment plan that would be implemented are discussed.

The goal is to achieve optimal aesthetics and function as well as the longevity of the procedure itself.

We especially emphasize our many years of experience in working with children and children with developmental disorders, where our goal is to establish a good working relationship between therapist - child - parent, in order to achieve a "visit to the dentist without fear", working on prevention and rehabilitation.

We are proud of the positive experience gained in the implementation of projects in cooperation with kindergartens "How to prevent fear of dentists" and cooperation with associations in the joint implementation of the prevention program in schools.

Dental caries is a chronic, complex bacterial infection that results in bacterial exposure and metabolism resulting in milligram losses of minerals from the tooth affected by the infection.

Caries is the most widespread disease today, which impairs the health of the teeth and mucous membranes of the oral cavity, and is caused by the interaction of bacteria and sugar.

After anesthesia, caries is treated by removing the carious lesion with various drills and filling the cavities with filling materials and prevents further penetration of the infection into the tooth itself.

If it is established that the infection has reached the dental pulp (nerve), in most cases the tooth must be approached with endodontic treatment, which means that the pulp needs to be removed.

Endodontic procedure is a procedure in which the infected dental pulp (nerve) is removed from the root canals of the tooth and prevents further penetration of bacteria from the oral cavity through the tooth canal into the jaw. After anesthesia (if necessary), endodontic instruments (needles) and the pulp is removed and the canals of the affected tooth are disinfected, which is eventually filled with various fillers to break the communication between the oral cavity and the jaw. After the endodontic procedure, the tooth loses its vitality and becomes avital.
