Health insurance can be confusing, especially when it comes to dental services that may be partly covered by mandatory or supplementary insurance, and partly not. Our goal is to resolve that uncertainty before we even begin treatment, not after.
How HZZO coverage affects your treatment
HZZO (the Croatian Health Insurance Fund) regulates mandatory and supplementary health insurance in Croatia, including certain dental services. The scope of coverage depends on the type of procedure, your insurance status and current regulations, so it's almost impossible to know in advance what's covered without a specific check for your case.
How we help
Before we agree on a treatment plan, we check your insurance status and explain, in plain language, what's covered by HZZO and what you pay yourself. If additional documentation or a referral is needed, we help you with that part of the process too — so you can focus on your treatment, not the paperwork.
What to bring to your first check-up
- Your health insurance card
- Your referral, if one was issued
- Details of any supplementary insurance
If you're not sure which of the above applies to you, feel free to contact us before your appointment — we're happy to check in advance.
